Roque Dalton is considered one El Salvador’s most important voices. His work helped to shape a generation of Central American poets and revolutionaries, and his influence continues to be felt far beyond Latin America. For the second consecutive year, we are honoring Roque’s legacy with a special tribute night. Join us for an evening filled with food, music, poetry readings, and discussion of why Roque’s poems remain as relevant today as ever.
Hosted by Leticia Hernandez and Jessica Mejia
With discussion facilitated by Professor Felix Kury
And music provided by DJ L7
