Saturday, May 13, 2017
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Juan R. Fuentes Gallery, 2958 24th Street
For May’s Paseo Artistico, we invite the community to join us for an afternoon artist talk with renowned muralista Juana Alicia. She will discuss the inspirations behind her stunning new exhibition, “Sacred Waters, City Streets: The Art of Juana Alicia.” Themes include: prison justice, water rights, global warming, climate change, and the extinction of species.
This is one of many great events being offered freely at this month’s Paseo Artistico cultural art series, which takes place every Second Saturday of the month in the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District. Please visit the Facebook event page for the full listing of the day’s activities.
