San Francisco-born muralists and frequent collaborators Eli Lippert and Max Marttila curated a selection of studio paintings for this special show, which they dubbed Castles Made of Fog. Fueled by an urgency to constantly create, reevaluate and manipulate their methods of making two dimensional work, Eli and Max sought to achieve a deeper comprehension of the intrinsic relationships between their stylistic forms and the urban locale.
