Oportunidades de Voluntariado

Alentamos candidatos de diferentes orígenes para aplicar a nuestras prácticas disponibles. Todas las posiciones son remuneradas pero se ofrece crédito educativo. El compromiso de tiempo para todas las posiciones oscila entre 5 y 10 horas por semana, pero flexibilidad está disponible para candidatos quien lo necesita. En nuestro programa de Artes Literarias:

Empezando en Abril del 2016, cada segundo del mes, nuestra oficina será convertida en un espacio para lecturas de poemas y eventos musicales (Mixta Serie de Poesía). Necesitamos voluntarios para ayudar a planificar y ejecutar estos eventos durante ese tiempo.

En nuestra Galería Juan R. Fuentes:

Los voluntarios pueden ayudar en la galería, trabajando con nuestro personal en la organización de eventos, ayudando a instalar y de-instalar exposiciones, la comercialización de las exposiciones, planeando las recepciones de cada exhibición, preparando los materiales asociados a las exposiciones, y la documentación de las exposiciones a través de la fotografía y videografía, etc.

En nuestro programa de Medios de Comunicación Comunitarios:

Cada dos semanas producimos un nueva edición de El Tecolote, el periódico bilingüe que hemos estado publicando desde 1970, que se crea principalmente por voluntarios. Siempre necesitamos escritores, fotógrafos, traductores, diseñadores gráficos y correctores.

En nuestro Archivo y Proyecto Voces Latinos:

Para las personas interesadas en la historia y materiales de archivo, tenemos numerosos
proyectos de exploración que involucran fotos y otros materiales efímeros, la realización de investigaciones,materiales de catalogación, y la preparación para las presentaciones que muestran los materiales de nuestros archivos.
