Poetry Anthology Book Release Party

We are very excited to announce the long-awaited release of Poetry in Flight/Poesia en vuelo, an anthology featuring the work of 56 “fiery poets speaking with a lyrical passion on equality, inclusion, freedom, justice gender identity, gentrification and more.”
Edited by the late poet Francisco X. Alarcón, Nina Serrano and Eva Martinez, this project has been seven years in the making. The volume, which celebrates the decades-long literary legacy of El Tecolote, includes cover art by Juan R. Fuentes, with a forward was penned by U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera.
To celebrate the official March 19 release date we are throwing a party at our office with live music, poetry readings and interactive activities. Children are welcomed. For more information head to the Facebook event page.
