5th Annual Latino Life Photo Exhibit

Latino Life: A Photojournalistic Experience
Saturday, July 14 • 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Acción Latina’s Juan R. Fuentes Gallery
2958 24th Street, San Francisco

Acción Latina and El Tecolote newspaper are pleased to announce the return of the only ongoing photography event in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to highlighting the Latino experience. Created and curated by El Tecolote’s photo editor Mabel Jimenez, Latino Life showcases the diversity of the Latino experience through the lens of El Tecolote’s volunteer photographers.

The theme for this year is “A Look Back,” which will not only showcase the best works produced by photographers since 2017, but will also include some of the best work from previous years. This year promises to show the best of the best since the beginning of this yearly tradition: vibrant, colorful and action-packed images that reflect both the beauty and struggle of being Latino.

Join us for a night of music, drinks, and of course, photography, as we take a look back at some of the most significant moments in the recent history of Bay Area Latinos, as well as our day-to-day lives and traditions.

Exhibit will run through Aug. 24, gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information, please visit the Facebook event page.
